Environment Conservation Guardian Ride — July 28th, 2027. Be part of history from day one.
Deep within the mist-covered rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the scenic slopes of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park lies one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences on Earth. Coming face to face with endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
This once-in-a-lifetime adventure takes you through dense jungle, guided by expert trackers who lead you along hidden forest trails in search of habituated gorilla families. The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location, but every step builds anticipation for the moment you finally encounter them.
Standing just a few meters away, you’ll observe these gentle giants as they interact, feed, and care for their young an intimate and humbling experience that leaves a lasting impression. From the powerful silverbacks to playful juveniles, each encounter offers a rare glimpse into a world few get to witness.
Beyond the gorillas, the journey itself is breathtaking. Expect lush vegetation, exotic birdlife, and panoramic views of Uganda’s rolling highlands often referred to as the “Pearl of Africa.”
Travel to one of the country's most rugged landscapes — the legendary Death Valley, California. Soak in the dramatic landscape. In the afternoon, continue on to Bakersfield for the night.
