Akagera National Park is one of Africa's great conservation comeback stories. Lions were reintroduced in 2015. Rhinos returned in 2017. Today, Rwanda's only Big Five destination stretches across 1,200 square kilometres of savannah, woodland, wetland, and a chain of shimmering lakes along the Tanzanian border all within three hours of Kigali.
